Weather postpones Southeast women's game vs. Birmingham

The Southeast Missouri State women's basketball team was supposed to be in Birmingham, Ala., today for a second straight nonconference road game.

But the scheduled contest with Alabama-Birmingham has been postponed. Both programs are working to reschedule the game.

The contest was postponed because of inclement weather that forced a change in travel plans for UAB's return from the St. John's-Chartwells Holiday Classic in Queens, N.Y. The tournament ended Sunday.

Southeast (3-7) returns to action Monday when it visits Arkansas-Little Rock (6-5).
