Weather postpones Redhawks' game against Arkansas State

Due to a forecast of heavy rain in Jonesboro, Ark., Tuesday's nonconference baseball game between Southeast Missouri State and Arkansas State was postponed.

The contest has been rescheduled for 6:30 p.m. April 1 in Jonesboro.

Southeast resumes Ohio Valley Conference play this weekend with a three-game home series against Tennessee-Martin.

There will be a 1 p.m. doubleheader Saturday and a 1 p.m. contest Sunday.

The Redhawks are 13-8 overall and 3-0 in the OVC after sweeping a series at Tennessee Tech. Eastern Illinois is the only other OVC squad off to a 3-0 conference start.

Tennessee-Martin, 8-10, has not played a conference contest.

Tennis falls to 0-10

The Southeast women's tennis team fell to 0-10 as the Redhawks began a five-match homestand with Monday's 7-0 loss to Southern Illinois-Carbondale.

Southeast returns to action today as Southern Illinois-Edwardsville visits at 3:30 p.m.
