Two Delta Dunklin Democrat coverage area schools will be serving as hosts for upcoming jamborees.

Gideon will entertain nearby rival Clarkton and Bernie for a jamboree at 5 p.m., on Friday, Aug. 18.

The three-team jamboree format will be implemented, coach Kristen Ashabranner said.

Admission is $3 for adults and $2 for students.

There will be a four-team jamboree featuring Sikeston, Poplar Bluff and Senath Hornersville at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23.

Returning head coach Chelsea Bledsoe reported the Camels will play two sets against all of the other three schools.

Admission will be $3 for adults and $2 for students.

Concessions will be offered at both jamborees.
