Southeast Missouri State University's volleyball team dropped a rare Ohio Valley Conference set, but the Otahkians recovered to post a four-set victory over visiting Tennessee Tech at Houck Field House Sunday afternoon.
The Otahkians lost the opening set 14-16 but rolled in the final three sets 15-1, 15-4, 15-11.
Southeast, which is fast closing in on its eighth OVC regular-season title in 10 years, improved its overall record to 16-8 and remained undefeated in league play at 12-0.
Tech fell to 10-12 overall and 4-9 in the OVC.
Krista Haukap, Rachelle Knapp and Lea Beckemeyer combined for 55 of the Otahkians' 64 kills. Haukap led the way with 22 kills while Knapp had 19 and Beckemeyer added 14.
Haukap also had a team-high 15 digs while Beckemeyer had nine digs and Knapp recorded three service aces.
Emily Scannell dished out 45 assists and added 10 digs. Suzanne Gundlach contributed three service aces and Lori Lange had eight digs.
