Dooley struck out 12 and walked just one to even his record at 2-2. Chris Hanback had a pair of doubles and a solo home run to pace Chaffee's 14-hit attack.

Josh Steger added three hits for the Red Devils (4-5). Dooley and Jerrod Steger added two hits apiece.

Derek Hanners and Terry Wagner combined to throw a one-hitter as Meadow Heights claimed a road win.

The Panthers (3-2) committed nine errors.

Hanners struck out eight batters in the first five innings, and Wagner earned the save with four strikeouts in the final two frames.

Wagner led Meadow Heights offensively with three hits.

GIRLS SOCCER ND 5, Poplar Bluff 0

Meridith Medlin racked up four goals and an assist to lead Notre Dame past Poplar Bluff on the road.

Amanda Pleimann scored the other goal for the Bulldogs.

Brooke Beussink dished out three assists, and Mindy Siebert added one for Notre Dame (7-2-1).

Claudia Brauss was in goal for the shutout.

Kickapoo Shootout Jackson 1, Parkway West 0, 2OT

Jenni Tenholder netted the game-winning goal from 45 yards out in the second overtime to help Jackson advance to the second round of the tournament in Springfield, Mo.

The Indians (5-3) will play today at 10:15 a.m.

"The girls played phenomenal tonight," Jackson coach Zack Walton said. "They played some good defense against some good players."

Kylie Werner made 10 saves in goal for the shutout.
