PERRYVILLE -- The Notre Dame Lady Bulldogs completed their undefeated run through the Perryville Thanksgiving Tournament Wednesday with a 54-47 victory over St. Pius.
The Lady Bulldogs, which had already clinched the championship Tuesday night with a victory over Perryville, completed the round-robin tourney with a 3-0 mark. St. Pius fell to 0-3.
Randi Senciboy led Notre Dame with 16 points and five rebounds. Jennifer Glueck added 11 points, five steals and four assists. Melissa Maurer scored nine points for the Lady Bulldogs. Notre Dame led 27-22 at halftime.
With the tourney title already secured going into their final contest, the Lady Bulldogs were able to work on a few wrinkles they had been unable to try earlier in the tourney.
"We tried doing some things we hadn't done yet," said Notre Dame coach Jerry Grim. "Winning this tournament was a nice way to start the season."
