Oran knocked off St. Vincent in the fifth-place game 50-33.

Ashley Dirnberger led the Lady Eagles with 24 points, while Maria Eftink added 10.

Amber Karnes led Eagle Ridge (6-3) with 19 points.

Nathan Cherry and Antonio Daniels each scored 18 points to lead Trinity.

Kris Dodson led Eagle Ridge (5-8) with 17 points and Andrew Mellies tallied 15.

Cape Central Jr. High

POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. -- Michael Brown scored 22 points as Cape Central's ninth -grade team defeated Poplar Bluff 51-42 to improve to 10-0.

Poplar Bluff won the eighth-grade game 43-41. Lorenzo Braxton scored 12 points for Central (5-3).

Jackson JV meet

JACKSON, Mo. -- Jackson boasted 10 individual champions as it won its five-team meet with a 264-point total.

Fox placed a distant second with 168, followed by Rockwood Summitt (153), Murphysboro, Ill., (147) and Sikeston (42).
