The Three Rivers Raiders men’s basketball team will be celebrating the holiday the best way it knows how on Thursday as the 2023 Bank of Grandin Thanksgiving Classic tips off at the Libla Family Sports Complex.
Three Rivers will have three matchups over three nights with the first coming at 7 p.m. Thursday against Southern Arkansas University Tech. Southwest Tennessee Community Colleges takes on the Raiders at 7 p.m. Friday and TRC wraps up play with Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College at 7 p.m. on Saturday.
The Raiders are 3-4 on the year and have lost back-to-back games coming into the classic.
Zyier Beverely is leading the Raiders with 12.2 ppg while Anthony Sellars is leading the team on the boards with 6.4 rebounds per contest. Beverly is also shooting 61.5% from the field to lead TRC.
Caleb Young (11.3 ppg), Kyle Edison (11.1 ppg) and Anthony Sellars (10.9 ppg) are all averaging double digits for the Raiders.
