Central's boys basketball team had its best shooting performance of the season and won its home opener Friday night, 83-68 over district rival Farmington.
"Our defense is always ahead of us, but the key tonight was shot selection," Central coach Derek McCord said. "Our shots are starting to fall now."
The Tigers (5-2) were 24-for-37 from the field and 5-for-8 from 3-point range and had 11 players score in the game.
The Tigers were led by Eli Harris with 17 points. Scott Chestnutt added 16, Ryan Delph had 11 and Jake Knepp contributed 10.

Notre Dame's Bryce Willen hit a 3-pointer with six seconds left in the fourth quarter to tie the game at 59-59 and force overtime, but visiting Sikeston outscored the Bulldogs 17-2 in the extra period.
Willen poured in 25 points for the Bulldogs (1-6). John Eric Klein added 12.
Sikeston (2-6) got 19 points from Trey Spence, 15 from Marcus McCaster and 13 from Joe Lincoln.
