In a high school makeup game that involved three schools, Cape Central defeated Jackson 14-10 at Notre Dame High School.
Due to heavy rains, the game, originally slated for Wednesday at Jackson City Park, was shifted to Notre Dame, the most playable field in the area.

Jackson avoided the 10-run rule when it scored twice in the fifth.
"I was pleased with the way we hit the ball today," said Cape Central coach Steve Williams. "We had been struggling a bit. We swung (the bats) like we're capable of. I was a little disappointed in the fact we had a chance to end the game in the fifth and didn't. When you get a team down like that you need to finish it."
