OKLAHOMA CITY -- Seth Johnston singled in two runs during a four-run fifth inning and Texas beat Oklahoma State 6-1 Friday to knock the Cowboys out of the Big 12 tournament.

With the bases loaded, Johnston hit the first pitch from Oklahoma State starter Scott Richmond (3-6) through the right side to score Thomas Incaviglia and Robby Hudson and give the Longhorns a 3-1 lead. Chance Wheeless followed with a squeeze bunt to score Drew Stubbs from third.

The Longhorns (45-13), who lost to Oklahoma State in the first round of the double-elimination tournament, tacked on two runs in the seventh on Wheeless' sacrifice fly and a wild pitch by Richmond. Texas will play Baylor in the semifinals Saturday.

Oklahoma State (34-25) was the defending tournament champions.

In a late game on Thursday, Sikeston High School graduate Jacob Priday had three RBIs as Missouri beat Texas Tech 10-1.

Max Scherzer allowed three hits for Missouri (39-19)..

Priday went 3-for-5, getting an RBI in the first and a two-run double in the third. Greg O'Neill's two-run homer in the top of the ninth brought the score to 10-1.
