St. Vincent shocked top-seeded Notre Dame 1-0 on Monday to set up an all-Perryville championship in the Class 1 District 1 girls soccer tournament at the Soccer Complex in Perryville.

Notre Dame (11-5-1), which had claimed the last three district titles, is the only team in the district to have won the championship.

Lacey Siegmund scored for the fourth-seeded Squaws (10-10-3) a little over 10 minutes into the second half. No assist was recorded.

St. Vincent will meet cross-town rival Perryville at 5 p.m. today in the title game.

The second-seeded Pirates scored a late goal to steal a 2-1 decision from No. 3 Sikeston.

Ava Johnson scored the game-winning goal on an assist from Kendra Schilli with less than 5 minutes remaining in the game.

Alyssa Bauwens scored her first goal of the season in the first half (14-8-1) from about 30 yards out. Nicole Gremaud assisted.

Class 2 District 1

Jackson and Central will meet for the fourth time this season in the district championship on Wednesday following semifinal wins by both teams.

The top-seeded Indians are 3-0 against No. 2 Central this season.

Jackson blanked No. 4 Poplar Bluff 6-0.

Bobbi Jo Schlick had two goals and an assist to lead the Indians (16-6-2).

Lauren Drewett, Emily Curtis and Hannah Kohm scored, and Jackson also received a goal from a Poplar Bluff player who was attempting to clear the ball near the Mules goal.

Drewett, Leslie Gordon, Katelyn Myracle and Emily Dietl added assists for the Indians.

Kylie Werner recorded her 10th shutout in goal.

In the other semifinal, Central (13-6) beat No. 3 Farmington 3-1. Laura Burdick scored a goal in each half for the Tigers, and Jenna Matthews added a goal.

Meghan Orr and Lee Thomas had assists. Jackie Twidwell recorded the win in goal.
