In the night's other game, Perryville fell to 0-2 in the tournament as a fourth-quarter comeback fell short in a 65-62 loss to Herculaneum.

Perryville (1-6) will face Valle today at 5 p.m. in the consolation final.

The Pirates trailed 46-33 at the start of the fourth quarter and were down 16 points with just over five minutes left. The comeback then began as the Pirates managed to trim the lead to one point with 50 seconds left. Perryville had a chance to take the lead but misfired and was forced to foul.

"The first three quarters we played sluggish and we didn't turn it on until the final quarter," said Perryville coach Jeff Steffens. "We started making our open shots that we missed in the first half. The kids played really hard the fourth quarter."

Ryan Wichern led Perryville with 21 points and Kyle Abernathy added 10.
