The first-year St. Vincent girls swimming squad placed third in a three-team meet on Tuesday at Affton.
St. Vincent, which has eight swimmers on its roster, finished with 69 points. St. Dominic won the meet with 129 points, and Affton finished with 104.
Maria Esswein placed first in two events as the lone invidivual winner for the Squaws, who had defeated Saxony Lutheran on Monday in their debut meet.
St. Vincent took third and fourth places in the 200-yard medley relay and was second in the 200 free.
