St. Charles West 3, Notre Dame 0

ST. CHARLES -- Notre Dame failed to score against St. Charles West, one of the better teams in the soccer-rich St. Louis area, but Lady Bulldogs coach Jeff Worley voiced no complaints with his team's effort under the sleet and snow.

Worley said his team, which has five freshmen in the starting set and only three players with varsity experience at their positions, generally controlled play for the opening 10 minutes and had a couple good scoring opportunities during the stretch.

St. Charles West led 2-0 at the half after scoring at the 17- and 38-minute marks.

Jackson 2, Ft. Zumwalt N. 0
