For the second straight year, Southeast Missouri State University cross country runner Amy Arteme has been named to the Verizon Academic All-District VII at large-team.

Arteme, a junior from Kelly High School, has a 3.857 grade-point average in dietetics.

Also a distance runner on the Southeast track team, Arteme placed second in the 2000 Ohio Valley Conference cross country championships. In 1999, Arteme won the OVC cross country title and was named the OVC Cross Country Athlete of the Year.
