The contest was originally scheduled to be played at Notre Dame in Cape Girardeau but was moved to Houck Stadium because of heavy rain.

Laura Gentry scored the game's lone goal, in the first half, as the Lady Pirates suffered just their fourth loss of the season. Perryville finished with a 20-4-3 record.
