SPORTS DIGEST: NOKOMIS CAPTURES KELSO KLASSIC

KELSO, Mo. -- Nokomis (Ill.) Bud Light emerged from the loser's bracket to hand Taylorville (Ill.) Bob Ridings Ford a pair of losses Sunday night to capture the 17th annual Kelso Klassic.

Nokomis edged out Taylorville 4-3 in the first championship game, forcing a final showdown, which it won 5-3.

Rich Younker of Taylorville was named the tournament's MVP pitcher while Randy Milleville of Nokomis was named the MVP.
