DELTA, Mo. -- St. Vincent's fast-improving softball team clinched its first non-losing season since starting a fall program three years ago as the Lady Indians knocked off host Delta 11-4 Wednesday.
The Lady Indians are 13-12 heading into the Class 2A district tournament that starts Friday.
"I'm really proud of the girls," said St. Vincent coach John Lambert. "They've really come a long way."
Julie Hager was the winning pitcher. She also had two hits while Jean Brown had three hits and drove in three runs.
