TUSCOLA, Ill. -- Southeast Missouri State University's Bryan Johnson took first place in the Ironhorse Intercollegiate Golf Invitational Tuesday.
Johnson shot a second-round score of 71 after a first-round of 65 on the par-72 Ironhorse Golf Course layout. Johnson's cumulative total of eight-under 136 put one stroke ahead of Shaun Rezachek of Wisconsin-Green Bay. The tournament was reduced to two rounds because of a heavy fog.
As a team, the Indians took 13th with a team score of 612. Following Johnson were Kent Phillips (49th, 156), John Litzelfelner (59th, 158), Rob Dillinger (75th, 162) and Woody Hill (81st, 165).
Wisconsin Green Bay won the tournament with a 574 total.
