TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Hopes for a big road victory eluded Southeast's women's basketball team Saturday as a miserable second half of shooting erased a 13-point halftime lead and resulted in an 81-56 loss to Indiana State.

After connecting on 14 of 30 shots (47 percent) in the first half and building a 40-27 lead, Southeast hit on just 4 of 31 shots (13 percent) after intermission.

The Otahkians were outscored 54-16 in the second half.

The loss was the first of the season for Southeast, now 1-1, while Indiana St. improved to 2-0.

Paula Corder, 16 points, and Pam Iverson, 12 points, were the only Otahkians to reach double figures. Iverson added a game-high 10 rebounds.

Amy Amstutz paced Indiana State with 15 points and nine rebounds. Jennifer Goetz added 12 points and Cristalle Shelton tallied 10.
