A look at what's happening in the world of Southeast Missouri State athletics.

The Southeast Missouri State soccer program added three more players for the upcoming season to go along with the six incoming freshmen the Redhawks signed in February.

Lauren Bozesky, Siobhan Symington and Amy Ward will join the Redhawks when they open preseason camp Aug. 5.

Bozesky played the last four seasons at Saint Louis University. She has one year of eligibility remaining due to a medical redshirt in 2008.

Bozesky, a St. Louis native, played in 44 games and made 16 starts during her SLU career. Thirty-eight of those appearances and all 16 starts came during her first two seasons when the midfielder totaled seven goals and three assists.

Bozesky, an all-state high school performer at Ursuline Academy, was limited to just six appearances due to injuries the past two seasons.

Symington comes to Southeast from Glasgow, Scotland, where she attended the University of Strathclyde and played for the Glasgow Celtics club team. The midfielder, who led the squad to the 2009 Scottish League Cup, has three more years of eligibility.

Ward, an incoming freshman, graduated from Hazelwood West High School in suburban St. Louis. The all-state midfielder helped the Wildcats to a 25-2 record and a final national ranking of No. 50 by ESPN.com this past season. She had 15 goals and 12 assists as a senior.
