A limited number of tickets are available for Southeast Missouri State's football playoff game at Eastern Washington on Dec. 4. Kickoff is set for 1:05 p.m. Pacific time.

Tickets are available only to Southeast football season ticket holders and Southeast Booster Club members on a first-come, first-served basis. Cost is $10 per ticket.

The deadline to order tickets is 5 p.m. Tuesday. For more information, call 651-2113 or 866-SEMO-TIK.

Tickets will be available for pickup the day of the game at the will call window of Roos Field in Cheney, Wash.

Gymnasts sign two

Southeast gymnastics coach Kristi Ewasko recently announced two signings during the NCAA's early signing period.

High school senior all-arounders Arielle Bulls and Taylor Huey will join the Redhawks next season.

"As we continue to push our team and goals to new levels, it is imperative that we add committed and dedicated young women to our program," Ewasko said in a release. "With Arielle and Taylor, we have done just that."

Bulls, a native of Buford, Ga., is a four-time Level 10 regional qualifier who earned a berth in the Junior Olympic nationals.

Huey, from Fleetwood, Pa., was third on beam at the Level 10 regional meet. She was invited to compete for the Region 7 national team as an alternate.

Soccer academics

The Southeast women's soccer team recently was awarded the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Team Academic Award for the 2009-10 academic year. The Redhawks were among 436 collegiate squads honored.

Southeast recorded a cumulative grade-point average of 3.21 last year. The Redhawks were among seven teams honored from the Ohio Valley Conference.
