Perryville's Jake Dobbelare put together an incredible streak at the plate.

The senior went 10 of 12 with five homers in the Pirates' three games last week.

Dobbelare started the week with a 4-for-4 performance against Notre Dame. Three of the hits came against Bulldogs ace Cody Heisserer. Dobbelare also put together an impressive performance on the mound against Notre Dame, but he took the loss in the Pirates' 4-2 loss.

"It was a little sad, but we played hard today as a team and did our best," Dobbelare said about suffering the tough-luck loss.

Dobbelare, a right-hander, only allowed two hits over 6 1/3 innings. He struck out five.

Dobbelare continued his hot hitting in Perryville's 6-3 win over De Soto. He homered twice and went 3 for 4 while driving in five runs. He had a two-run homer in the third inning and a three-run shot in the fifth.

Dobbelare finished his week by blasting three homers in the Pirates' 13-7 win at New Madrid County Central.
