Hogan, a 6-foot-2 sophomore, warmed up by scoring a team-high 12 points as Scott City eased past Chaffee in the opening round. Then, in a semifinal game against Oran, Hogan recorded a triple-double. She finished the game with 16 points, 10 rebounds and 10 blocks in a 53-38 victory.

Finally, in the championship game against Delta, Hogan scored 18 points to go along with 18 rebounds to lead her team to seven-point win and the championship.

"She's awesome," teammate Stephanie Essner said, talking about Hogan after the game. "She's an all-around player. She can shoot and pass."

At this point, it's hard to find something the newly minted Southeast Missourian Player of the Week can't do on a hardwood court.
