Jackson swimmer Allison Hobbs is the Southeast Missourian Player of the Week.
The junior collected multiple individual medals and relay medals during a couple of impressive performances on back-to-back days.
First, Hobbs won the 50 and 200-meter individual freestyle races at the Westminster tri-meet on Thursday and helped her team to a second place finish.
Then, on Friday, Hobbs joined with her Jackson teammates to win four events at the Rec Center Relays.
Hobbs was a part of three winning freestyle relay teams, each of which also included Shelby McCord in addition to other team members.
The Indians' won the 200, 900, and 400-meter distances, meaning only the 100-meter freestyle race was claimed by a school other than Jackson.
While the Indians finished more than 30 seconds ahead of Poplar Bluff to capture the 400-meter title, the 200 and 900 were won by just seconds over Notre Dame.
Hobbs' other win came in the 300-meter backstroke, an event she and her teammates won by more than 20 seconds over their nearest competitor.
Hobbs' four wins fueled Jackson to a first-place tie with Notre Dame in the team standings for the event, adding yet another title to her collection for the week.
