Saxony Lutheran sophomore Grace Mirly scored 19 points in helping the Crusaders to a 59-52 win over defending state champion Lutheran St. Charles in the Class 3 quarterfinals Saturday.

Mirly sparked the Crusaders in their successful bid to become the school's first basketball team to reach the final four by scoring Saxony's first six points of the game.

Earlier in the week, Mirly helped avenge a sectional loss to Twin Rivers that ended her freshman season. She shared game-high scoring honors with teammate Brianna Mueller in Saxony's 65-36 win over the Royals.
