Advance senior Lane Below scored a career-high 40 points in the Hornets' 75-55 road win over Dexter last week.

The 6-foot guard/forward made 11 of 16 shots from the field and sank 15 of 17 free throws against the Bearcats. He netted 21 of the Hornets' 29 points in the second quarter and added 18 points in the third quarter. Below scored just one point in the opening quarter and did not play the final period.

He also had six assists, three steals and three rebounds.

Below, who has topped 30 points on several occasions this season, is averaging 26.7 points, 5.2 assists, 4.4 rebounds and 2.7 steals.
