Southeast Missouri State pole vaulter Christian Locke and gymnast Alexis Brawner each snagged weekly conference honors for the second time this season.
Locke was chosen as the Ohio Valley Conference's Male Field Athlete of the Week and Brawner earned Midwest Independent Conference Gymnast of the Week.
Locke, a senior, broke Southeast's indoor pole vault record at the Redhawks Invitational on Friday.
His height of 17 feet, 3/4 inches topped Jaret Willi's mark of 16-11 1/2 from 2002.
Locke, who shared athlete of the week honors last week, still holds the best vault mark in the conference and ranks 45th nationally.
Brawner, a sophomore, was a unanimous pick for the weekly award after scoring a career-high 39.000 to win the all-around against Illinois State on Friday.
She alsoo won the vault and floor titles, set a season-high on beam with a 9.725 and tied her season-high on floor with a 9.800.
The Redhawks gymnastics team competes in Colorado this weekend. Southeast is at Air Force on Friday night before facing Denver, Iowa and Illinois-Chicago in a quad meet on Saturday.
The Southeast track and field teams are set to compete at the OVC Indoor Championships in Nashville, Tennessee, on Friday and Saturday.
