The Southeast Missouri State women's tennis team stretched its winning streak to four matches with a 7-0 road victory Sunday over Tennessee State.

The Redhawks improved to 2-0 in OVC play and 8-5 overall.

Southeast's top three singles players all won in straight sets. Valeriia Kashina posted a 6-4, 6-1 win at No. 1; Valeriia Nagovitcina won 6-0, 6-3 at No. 2; and Ekaterina Donetckova breezed to a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 3.

The Redhawks completed a sweep of singles play as the opponents for No. 4 Heather Robinson and No. 5 Annisa Warasanti both retired from their match, and No. 6 Melissa Martin won by default.

Kashina and Donetckova won the only doubles match completed by an 8-2 score.

Tennessee State fell to 0-4 overall and 0-2 in the OVC.

Southeast will host Morehead St.on March 22.
