The Southeast Missouri State women's tennis team lost its fifth straight match Tuesday, but freshman Elizabeth Nyenwe continued her strong play.

Nyenwe notched her fourth consecutive victory and remained undefeated in the Ohio Valley Conference. She accounted for Southeast's lone win in visiting Tennessee-Martin's 6-1 triumph.

Southeast fell to 1-11 overall and 0-5 in the OVC. UTM is 11-7 and a first-place 7-0 in league play.

Nyenwe beat Alice Laing 6-1, 6-4 at No. 2 singles. Nyenwe improved to 7-5, including 5-0 in OVC matches.

The Redhawks have another OVC home match Thursday, against Tennessee State.
