Meaghan Touchette finished 3 for 3 with a career-high four RBI to lead the Southeast Missouri State softball team to a 12-4 win over Tennessee State on Thursday in Nashville, Tennessee.

Southeast (13-23, 7-11 Ohio Valley Conference) recorded 14 hits in the game, which was resumed after play was suspended due to inclement weather on April 3. The Redhawks had a 6-1 lead with runners at first and second with one out in the top of the second inning before the game was postponed.

Savannah Carpenter singled to load the bases, followed by a two-run single by Taylor McDannold. Touchette scored McDannold and Carpenter on a two-out single, and Southeast carried a 10-1 lead into the third inning.

TSU (9-32, 2-18) scored a run in the third and two in the fifth to trim the Redhawks' lead to 10-4, but the Redhawks concluded the scoring with a home run by Riley Hayes and an RBI single by Alexis Anderson in the top of the seventh.

Madeline Krumrey (9-9) was credited with the win in the circle. She struck out four and allowed three runs on seven hits in six innings of relief.

Taylor Green (5-15) took the loss for the Tigers. She went five innings and gave up 10 runs and 11 hits.

Anderson, Carpenter and McDannold each finished with two hits, while McDannold and Hayes each had two RBI.

The Redhawks will take on Eastern Illinois this weekend in their final home series of the season, beginning with a doubleheader at 1 p.m. Saturday.
