The Southeast Missouri State soccer team picked up an impressive transfer for the 2011 season.
Jessica Crabtree, who played the past three seasons at the University of Missouri, will join the Redhawks for her final collegiate campaign.
Crabtree, a midfielder from Marion, Ill., played in 60 games and made 25 starts for the Tigers.
Sixteen starts came last year when Crabtree recorded two assists. Her most productive offensive season came in 2009, when she scored five goals and had an assist for 11 points.
Crabtree, part of 2008 and 2009 Big 12 championship squads, was a first-team Academic All-Big 12 pick as a sophomore.
Crabtree scored 142 goals at Marion High School, ranking 10th all-time in Illinois for career goals. She was a prep teammate of current Southeast player Stephanie Palmer.
"I'm extremely excited about signing Jessie," Southeast coach Heather Nelson said in a release. "She is an elite level, experienced student-athlete.
"Her athleticism, speed, relentless work rate and pure will to attack the goal are a unique combination of characteristics rarely found in the women's game."
