The Southeast Missouri State men's basketball team has released its 2016-17 non-conference schedule, which includes five home games and road trips to some high-profile programs. The season will open Nov. 11 at Illinois, and the Redhawks face another Big Ten foe on the road Dec. 4 when they take on Indiana for the first time...

The Southeast Missouri State men's basketball team has released its 2016-17 non-conference schedule, which includes five home games and road trips to some high-profile programs.

The season will open Nov. 11 at Illinois, and the Redhawks face another Big Ten foe on the road Dec. 4 when they take on Indiana for the first time.

Southeast will also make a pre-Christmas trip to participate in the Las Vegas Classic, which will begin with campus sites on Dec. 17 and 19 before moving to Las Vegas on Dec. 22-23. The Redhawks' first two games will be played at Missouri State and at DePaul. Other teams participating in the event are Southern California, Wyoming, Chicago State, Cornell and Troy (Ala.).

Southeast will also play host to Missouri State on Nov. 21.

The home opener is Nov. 13 vs. Hannibal-LaGrange.
