Southeast gymnastics
The Southeast Missouri State gymnastics team posted a 191.800 in its final road meet of the season Thursday in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
That score was good for third as Eastern Michigan scored a 196.250 and Central Michigan was second with a 194.125.
The Redhawks' only gymnast that placed was sophomore Alexis Brawner, who was third in the all-round with a 38.275.
Southeast scored a 47.975 on vault, led by Brawner's 9.850.
The Redhawks posted a 47.075 on balance beam, with both sophomore McKenna Stanley and junior Alyssa Tucker scoring 9.725 to pace the team.
Southeast scored a 48.075 on floor, with Brawner and freshman Mckenzie Jones each scoring a team-high 9.700, and a 48.675 on uneven bars, which Tucker scored a season-high 9.800 on to lead the way for the Redhawks.
Southeast will host the Midwest Independent Conference meet on March 19 to close out the regular season.
