The Southeast Missouri State baseball program will conclude fall workouts with its annual Steak and Beans World Series.
The best-of-seven intrasquad series begins at 1 p.m. Thursday at Capaha Field, followed by a 1 p.m. game Friday.
Other contests will be Oct. 18, 21, 25, 26 and 28 at times to be determined. All games are open to the public.
Players on the winning team will be treated to a steak dinner, while the losers will settle for beans.
"This is always a good, fun way to wrap up our fall practices," Southeast coach Mark Hogan said. "Our players enjoy the competition and it allows our coaching staff to evaluate our personnel in game situations."
