Southeast Missouri State University's baseball and softball teams both had scheduled home doubleheaders with Ohio Valley Conference opponent Eastern Kentucky rained out Saturday.
The Indians and Otahkians will attempt to play noon doubleheaders today instead of regularly scheduled single games. At most, both teams will only be able to get in two games of scheduled three-game series. Any rained out OVC contests are not made up.
The Indians (18-21, 8-7) and Colonels (26-9, 8-7) are tied for fourth place among 10 OVC baseball teams, percentage points ahead of Tennessee Tech (9-8), which was swept in Saturday's twinbill at Jacksonville State.
The Otahkians (14-29, 9-9) are in sixth place among 10 OVC softball teams. The Colonels (34-14, 17-4) lead the league.
