Friday's rain caused a major shakeup in high school softball district tournaments involving local teams as no games were played.

The Class 4A, District 1 championship game between Cape Central and Jackson, which had been scheduled for 11 a.m. today at Jackson City Park, has been pushed back to 4 p.m. to allow the field more time to dry.

The Class 2A, District 2 title contest between Notre Dame and Kelly, which was supposed to have been played Friday in Crystal City, will instead be held at 3 p.m. today at Arena Park in Cape Girardeau.

Class 3A, District 1 at the Perryville City Park was supposed to play its semifinals Friday and its finals today. Instead, all three contests will be held today. The semifinals will feature De Soto vs. Park Hills at 1 p.m. and Perryville vs. Ste. Genevieve at 3 p.m., followed by the championship game at 5 p.m.

Finally, the Class 1A, District 1 championship matchup between Delta and host Naylor that was scheduled for Friday will be played at 3 p.m. Monday.

All district champions advance to Wednesday's sectional round.
