A pair of recent Notre Dame Regional High School graduates duked it out on the golf course Wednesday during the PGA Gateway Junior Series event at Bent Creek Golf Course.
Brett Slaten shot a 79 to beat Joe Wiggans by a stroke in the boys 16 to 18 18-hole tour division. Corey Fowler and Brett Leimbach finished tied for third with 86s.
Camille Brewer shot a 51 to edge Diana Kantchev and win the girls 12 to 13 nine-hole division.
The next tournament is scheduled for Monday at Cape Girardeau Country Club.
