BOISE, Idaho -- Southeast Missouri State University's Lutricia Purham finished 15th among a field of 21 in the women's shot put Thursday at the NCAA Division I Track & Field Championships.
Purham, a junior who is Southeast's first female NCAA Division I national track qualifier, had a distance of 48 feet 3 1/4 inches, well off her school-record qualifying throw of 50-9 3/4.
Seilala Sua of UCLA won the title with 57-9.
