BASEBALL

Twin Rivers 7, Bernie 2

After falling behind 2-0, the Twin Rivers Royals battled and came away with a 7-2 win at home Tuesday over Bernie.

Luke Hester had the win on the mound and went 3-for-3 with two doubles and three RBIs in the victory. Jake Hester also finished with multiple hits.

The Royals are at Neelyville on Thursday.

Neelyville 15, Holcomb 5

After being shutout on Monday, the Neelyvilel Tigers bounced back Tuesday with a 15-5 win over Holcomb.

The Tigers fell behind 1-0 after the top of the first but never looked back as they scored in all but one inning, including six runs in the second and five in the game-ended fifth.

Trevor Turner and Kenny Fiske each finished with two hits while Fiske added three RBIs. Carson Parker and Owen Conner each had two RBIs.

Fiske also earned the win for Neelyville with three strikeouts over five innings of work.

Neelyville plays at home against Twin Rivers on Thursday.

VOLLEYBALL

Holcomb 3, Twin Rivers 0

The Twin Rivers Lady Royals fell 3-0 to Holcomb on Tuesday in Broseley.

Twin Rivers hosts Malden on Thursday.

West Plains 3, Poplar Bluff 0

Varsity lost, 25-14, 25-21 & 25-18. JV lost, 25-14 & 25-13

SOFTBALL

Neelyville 27, Naylor 0

The Neelyville Lady Tigers wasted no time in getting the job done on Tuesday as they took down Naylor 27-0.

Jade Crosswhite (3-4, 5 RBIs, 4 runs), Reese Dobbins (3-4, HR, 2 2B, 6 RBIs, 3 runs) and Parker Ernst (4-4, HR, 2B, 6 RBIs, 2 runs) combined for 11 hits and 17 RBIs in the game from the first three spots in the order.

Hannah Hover, Addison Couch, Callei Moss and Miah Martin also had multiple hits in the win.

September Preslar earned the win in the cicle.

The Lady Tigers host Twin Rivers on Thursday.

Chaffee 11, Twin Rivers 0

Chaffee cruised by Twin Rivers 11-0 on Tuesday with the Lady Royals only finding two hits in the game. Twin Rivers is at Neelyville on Thursday.
