Season tickets for Southeast Missouri State football are on sale, with various packages available for the 2011 campaign that opens when the defending Ohio Valley Conference champion Redhawks host regional rival Southern Illinois at 6 p.m. Sept. 3.
Prices for season tickets for the six home games are $42 for general admission and $54 for reserved bleacher seating. A limited number of chairback seats are available and require a minimum donation to the Southeast Booster Club to support scholarships for student-athletes.
Season ticket discounts will be offered to seniors (age 62 and older) and Southeast faculty and staff.
Single-game tickets will go on sale Aug. 9. In addition to SIU, Southeast also hosts Eastern Illinois (Oct. 1, Family Weekend), Austin Peay (Oct. 22, Homecoming), Central Methodist (Nov. 5), Jacksonville State (Nov. 12) and Murray State (Nov. 19).

The Southeast softball program recently signed catcher Xia Wilson.
Wilson, a native of Ft. Collins, Colo., spent the past two seasons at Tallahassee (Fla.) Community College. She hit .275 with four doubles, a triple, three home runs, a .422 slugging percentage and 18 RBIs for a team that went 41-22 and finished third at the national junior college tournament this year.
"She hits for power and is mainly a high average hitter," Southeast coach Lana Richmond said in a release. "She was a clutch hitter in pressure situations at the juco nationals. Xia will add immediate maturity behind the plate for us, and I am happy to add a well-rounded student-athlete to our program."
