Three big road victories last week has lifted Southeast Missouri State University's volleyball team to the top of the Ohio Valley Conference standings.
The Otahkians defeated Eastern Illinois, Murray State and Tennessee-Martin to improve to 15-5 overall and 7-1 in league play. Tennessee Tech is a game behind the Otahkians at 8-2.
In addition to winning three big matches, senior Amy Henken was named OVC Offensive Player of the Week while senior Angie Aschoff claimed the defensive award.
Henken recorded back-to-back triple-doubles at Eastern Illinois and Murray State while Aschoff led the Otahkians in digs, blocks and attack percentage. She is seventh on Southeast's career kill list with 1,145.
Southeast hosts Middle Tennessee Friday and Tennessee Tech Saturday in a pair of 7 p.m. OVC matches.
