The Scott City volleyball team defeated Jackson in straight games on the Rams' senior night Wednesday.

Katie Diebold paced Scott City (25-1-2) with four aces, five digs and nine assists.

Stephanie Essner tallied seven digs. Katie Hogan put down six kills, served up three aces and added two blocks, while Anna Laitinen nailed six kills and added eight digs and two blocks.

Rachel Meyr led the Indians (11-12) with 12 assists and 11 digs.

Taylor Glueck added four kills, one ace and six digs, while Jill Rushin spiked four kills for the Indians.

Game scores were 25-23, 25-18.

Alyssa Ruopp recorded 18 straight service points in the second game as Notre Dame romped. Ruopp added six service aces in that span, and tallied eight digs.

Meghan Dohogne put down 10 kills, while Shannon Brennan tallied 16 assists for Notre Dame (18-4).

Meadow Heights 25 25 Marquand 10 8

Courtney Brune put down nine kills to help the Panthers roll in their Mississippi Valley Conference tournament match.

Jill Mills spiked four kills and Ashley Doublin added 19 assists for the Panthers (15-9).

Third-seeded Meadow Heights advanced to play second-seeded Zalma tonight.
