Scott City and Oran advanced to the semifinals of the Scott-Miss Conference boys basketball tournament with opening-round wins Tuesday.
The teams will play 9 p.m. Thursday, following the 7:30 p.m. semifinal game between East Prairie and tournament host Scott County Central.
Scott City hammered Delta 67-24 to move on.
Oran pulled away from Chaffee with a 30-point final period in a 66-47 victory. The Eagles trailed after one period but took a 27-18 halftime lead with a big second period. After Chaffee pulled back within six points after three periods, Oran erupted for 30 in the final period.
Coidy Romas scored 18 points to lead the Eagles, while Robert Lange and Chris Asmus each added 11.

The Tigers had eight first-place finishes and two more state cuts, but they lost at home against Nerinx Hall of Webster Groves.
"They don't have Hannah Kinders, but we'd win a race and they would go 2, 3, 4," Central coach Dayna Powell said.
Kinder, already a state qualifier, won two events.
Freshman Susan Beth Scott won the 500-yard freestyle with a state cut time of 5 minutes, 40.40 seconds. Swimming in the event for the first time this season, she became the team's first individual other than Kinder to post a state cut.
Central's 200 free relay team of Kinder, Jessie Baker, Annie Wolpers and Mary Catherine Ford also made a state cut, finishing first in 1:48.45.
Baker also had two first-place finishes.
