SCC's Otto Porter selected to play in high school all-star game on ESPN2

Scott County Central senior Otto Porter will get an opportunity to showcase his skills on a national stage.

The 6-foot-9 forward, who is drawing interest from the country's elite college programs, has been selected to play in the Jordan Brand Classic high school basketball all-star game. It is scheduled for April 16 in Charlotte, N.C., and will be televised on ESPN2 at 7 p.m.

Porter led the Braves to the last two Class 1 state titles and has them ranked No. 1 in Class 1 again this season. The Braves are 18-2 this season, which includes winning the title at the Southeast Missourian Christmas tournament.
