Bryant Steffans did a little bit of everything to help Saxony Lutheran dominate in its first district game Monday as the Crusaders rolled past Hancock 6-0 in Class 1 District 1 action.
Saxony will play for the championship Wednesday at 4 p.m.
Steffans had three goals and also split time in the goal, sharing a shutout with Matt Stueve. Andrew Etzoldt had two goals and Garrett Fritsche had one goal and one assist.

Defending state champion Notre Dame took another step in its defense, earning a victory and advancing to the district title game.
Nick Wren and Ty Williams scored goals for the Bulldogs (18-4-1), who will face De Soto at 6 p.m. Wednesday for the championship.
MCSAA tournament
Eagle Ridge took second place at the MCSAA state tournament over the weekend.
Eagle Ridge defeated Crosspoint Christian 3-0 in the semifinals Friday. Daniel Cohen scored twice and Josh Carbaugh added a goal. In the final minutes of the game, Abby Cohen fractured her ankle and was unavailable for the championship game, leaving Eagle Ridge with only 10 players.
In the championship game, Eagle Ridge faced top-seeded Faith Christian of Fenton. Daniel Cohen scored once in the opening half, but Faith found the net four times.
Mary-Kate Galemmo scored in the second half, but it wasn't enough as Eagle Ridge fell 5-2.
Eagle Ridge set the school record for wins and shutouts this season. Three players were named to the all-state first team -- Daniel Cohen, Ben Douglass and Ethan Grant.
