Saxony Lutheran improved to 6-0 in its inaugural varsity boys basketball season with a 67-45 win over Zalma at home.
The Crusaders jumped out to a 36-16 hafltime lead behind the 3-point shooting of Trey Maevers and Lauren Lueders. Lueders finished with five 3-pointers and Maevers had three.
Lueders led the Crusaders with 18 points. Casey Petzoldt added 12 points for Saxony Lutheran and Tim Lorenz had 10.
David Hovis led Zalma with 22 points and Curt Wiseman had 11.
