Hurricanes advance

Cory Stillman scored 1:19 into overtime and visiting Carolina eliminated Montreal in six games with a 2-1 decision.

After dropping the first two games of the best-of-seven series at home, Carolina roared back to win four straight -- three in Montreal. The Hurricanes will play the New Jersey Devils in the second round.
