DENVER -- Mike Hampton pitched eight innings in his second straight strong start at Coors Field and Todd Zeile homered and drove in four runs as the Colorado Rockies beat the Florida Marlins 10-3 Thursday.
Bobby Estalella hit his fourth homer in as many games for the Rockies, a three-run shot off Julian Tavarez (1-3)in a six-run first inning. Colorado has won seven of 10 overall and nine of 10 at home.
Hampton (2-5), the highest paid pitcher in baseball, allowed three runs and four hits to win for just the seventh time in his last 23 decisions.
Reds 2, Brewers 1, 11 innings
MILWAUKEE -- Todd Walker's RBI single off Mike DeJean (0-2) in the 11th inning gave Cincinnati a four-game sweep of Milwaukee.
Gabe White (2-1) pitched a perfect 10th for the victory and Danny Graves pitched a perfect 11th for his 14th save in 18 chances.
The Reds beat the Brewers for the seventh time in 11 days.
Brewers right-hander Ben Sheets took a two-hitter into the ninth but surrendered a leadoff homer to Sean Casey on an 0-2 pitch that tied the game at 1.
Braves 5, Giants 4
SAN FRANCISCO -- Mark DeRosa hit a tiebreaking single and Chipper Jones added a three-run double in the eighth inning as Atlanta beat San Francisco to split the four-game series.
With the score tied at 1, Javy Lopez was walked by Jason Schmidt (0-1) with one out and was replaced by pinch runner Marcus Giles. After Giles stole second, Rafael Furcal walked and DeRosa singled up the middle off Felix Rodriguez.
Gary Sheffield walked to load the bases, Jones his bases-clearing double to the right-field wall.
Jason Marquis (3-2) allowed one run and four hits in seven innings for the win. John Smoltz allowed a three-run homer to Benito Santiago in the ninth.
Astros 3, Pirates 1
HOUSTON -- Lance Berkman tied Sammy Sosa for the major league lead with his 15th homer, and Roy Oswalt struck out 11 in eight innings.
Oswalt (5-2) allowed one run on seven hits and no walks. He struck out the last four batters he faced.
With the score tied at 1 in the eighth, Richard Hidalgo led off with a single off reliever Brian Boehringer (0-1). After a sacrifice bunt, Boehringer intentionally walked Orlando Merced, the runners advanced on a groundout and Jose Vizcaino hit a two-run single off Scott Sauerbeck.
Billy Wagner pitched the ninth for his sixth save as the Astros won their season-high fifth straight game.
